PICKAWAY COUNTY
FIRE & EMS LIVE
January 13, 2010 4:05p.m.
Firefighters from Harrison Township with Assistance from Scioto Township, Pickaway Township, Hamilton Township and
the City of Circleville battled a stubborn house fire located at 94 E. Main St in Ashville. The fire was reported by Lt. Clark of
the Ashville Police Department after investigating smoke in the area. Harrison Township crews arrived within 4 minutes to
find smoke showing and encountered fire on the 2nd and 3rd floors. Crews worked feverishly to control the fire but it
eventually made its way to the attic space where it became too dangerous for personnel to work inside. Damage estimates
are pending and the cause was determined to be accidental by the State of Ohio Fire Marshall's Investigative Unit. Crews
remained on scene throughout the night. More pictures can be viewed on the Pics/Vid page.
